Mark your calendars for Smoked Beer Preservation Day on Saturday, July 26th, from 4 pm to 9 pm

This event is your chance to celebrate the nearly 400-year history of rauchbier and the tradition of using wood-fired kilns to roast malts.

While most breweries adopted the new technology, the tradition of using wood-fired kilns for malt roasting continued in Bamberg, Germany, specifically at the Schlenkerla brewery.

We will highlight the history of rauchbier, a beer that boasts bold and distinct flavors, to showcase not only its uniqueness but also the craftsmanship involved in its production. Get ready to be intrigued and excited by this unique beer!

Lean into the smoke with locally smoked sausage from Raddell’s Sausage, smoked cheddar from Vermont, imported smoked speck, and smoked gouda, along with house-made meats and sauces that include smoked chicken, brisket, white BBQ sauce, and a lambic beer reduction BBQ. Join us for smoking cigars on the patio while we smoke our chickens and brisket!
