On Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 6pm Les Dames d’Escoffier Cleveland celebrates SummerDine 2019 with Der Braumeister and several other participating Cleveland area restaurants to raise money for grants and scholarships. Participating restaurants across the city create a special dining experience for 2 to 10 guests. $80 per seat (which 100% goes straight to the scholarship funds!) at Der Braumeister will please your palate with 5-courses each paired with a beer tasting.
Les Dames d’Escoffier Cleveland is the Cleveland chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International. Our members are professional women in the food, beverage, and related industries. All are women of achievement, leaders in their fields as well as their communities, all with a minimum of five years’ experience. The goal of our chapter is to carry out the mission of our parent organization: to educate, advocate and donate; to assist and promote women in the professions of food, wine and hospitality.

First: Hunters Barley Soup: porcini and button mushrooms, beef stock, dry riesling, pearl barley
Paired with Duchesses de Bourgogne, red ale
Second: Cod Cakes: sustainable cod, potato, pickled strawberries, creamy horseradish dill
Paired with Pilsner, Bavik
Third: Carrot Salad: local green, carrots, creamy caraway dressing
Paired with Saison Dupont
Fourth: Chicken Schnitzel Fondue: panko crusted chicken breast, drizzled in emmental fondue, topped with fried capers, served with grilled zucchini planks
Paired with Oktoberfest Marzen
Fifth: Cream Puff: Chocolate ganache, puff pastry, custard
Paired with Dark Fruit Ale, raspberry ale or kasteel rouge
