Spiced Maple Cranberry, Crafted Artisan Meadery, Session Mead, 5.5 ABV: Mead or honey wine ferments the beer with honey. Like beer, mead sometimes blends flavors of fruits, spices, grains, or hops. But it’s generally higher in alcohol than beer and more in line with grape wine

St. Feuillien Cuvée De Noël, Brasserie St. Feuillien, 9 ABV: First Brewed in 1969 this beer consistently ranks within the top 100 Christmas beers. Carmel, sugar, and spice make this beer ultra-nice! 

Christmas (Noël), Brasserie de l’Abbaye du Val-Dieu, Blond, 7 ABV: This blond beer with coppery highlights is both balanced and smooth. On the nose, we let ourselves be enveloped by aromas of roasted malts and caramel. On the palate, the same flavors return, plus touches of dried fruit and grapefruit. A note of Port ties together this beautiful marriage of fine flavors.

Scladis Noël, Brasserie Dubisson Frères spr, 12 ABV: dark fruits, cherry, fig, and toffee with a hint of clove give this boozy beer sit near a fireplace vibes ALL NIGHT LONG. 

Drummer Boy (Cleveland Exclusive), Fretboard Brewing, 8 ABV: a craft beer winter warmer, local honey, cinnamon, ginger, and orange peel offer a unique blend of spices- only available in Cleveland at Der Braumeister! – a 2022 Best 

N’ice CHOUFFE, Achouffe Brewery, Dark Strong Ale, 10 ABV: When the little animals in Fairyland hibernate, the Achouffe gnomes love to gather in their cottage. They spend long evenings telling the best Ardennes stories by the gentle firelight while enjoying a delicious N’Ice CHOUFFE. Smooth and robust, with spicy notes of thyme and Curacao, this dark beer warms both hearts and atmospheres, making even the coldest winters joyful.

St.Bernardus Christmas Ale, Brouwerij St. Bernardus NV, Quad, 9.8 ABV : This Christmas beer pours a reddish-brown color. Big malt sweetness on the nose, with brown sugars and spice. The flavor profile of big malts, dark fruits, soft herbs, and balanced yeast create a warming alcohol and mild hop bitterness: Heavy-bodied but crisp upfront. Rated one of the best Christmas beers in the world!

Stille Nacht (Silent Night), De Dolle Brouwers, Belgian Pale Strong Ale,10.8 ABV : Brewed only for Christmas De Dolle Stille Nacht is a Belgian Strong Pale Ale specially brewed for Christmas, with pale malt and white candy sugar. We bumped Delirium when we confirmed Stille Nacht was available! 

Gouden Carolus, Brouwerij Het Anker, Belgian Dark Strong Ale, 9 ABV: Using the same recipe since 1962 this ruby red ale delivers the taste of Christmas with every sip. The malty warmth and fruitiness, define this world renowned holiday brew. From the oldest brewery still producing beer in Belgium – Gouden Carolus From Brouwerij Het Anker, Belgium, Named for the gold coins of the Emperor Charles V. Gouden Carolus is brewed using traditional methods and a recipe with top fermentation. It improves with age and will charm you with it’s warm, coppery color and rich bouquet.

Einbecker Winterbock, Einbecker Brauhaus, 7.5 ABV: founded in 1378, this German Christmas beer comes from one of the oldest breweries in the world. Taste the malty and bitter chocolate that makes with an obvious choice for our 12 Beers of Christmas list!  

Flensburger Winterbock, Flensburger Brauerei, 7 ABV: a Helles Bock from Germany! Using special malts that give off the perfect malt-aromatic notes, this crisp, orange-golden bock is lightly hopped and smoother than other bock beers, making this Winterbock the perfect start or finish to any meal.

Delirium Nöel, Delirium – Huyghe Brewery, 10 ABV: Brewed exclusively for the Christmas and new year holidays by one of the oldest breweries in Belgium, the dark style beer has a superb warm copper/red color with multiple potent aromas of dark fruit, apricot, caramel malt, sweet cherry, cinnamon and clove with notes of vanilla, apple, banana and yeast.

BONUS BEER: Chimay Blue, Grande Reserve Bleue Strong Ale, Bieres de Chimay, 9 ABV: This beer is NOT included in our 12 Beer Flight, HOWEVER: Full pours of the original Christmas Beer made by Trappist Belgian Monks are available.First launched in 1948 as a Christmas ale under the name “Blue Cap”, its reputation as a strong ale of the highest quality led to its year-round production. It’s remarkably dry with a hint of sweetness that’s derived from the highest quality of malts. Flavors of dates, fig and pear are complemented by aromas of bread with a faint floral finish.
